Payment Policy

Accepted Payment Methods

The Marmu Shop accepts the following payment methods:

• Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), processed securely through Stripe
• Token redemption — tokens earned through in-app activity within the Marmu platform may be applied toward eligible purchases at checkout, subject to the terms below

Mistorchen LLC does not store, access, or retain any payment card data. All card transactions are processed exclusively by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's applicable terms and privacy policy.

Token Redemption

Tokens are a virtual in-app currency issued solely by Mistorchen LLC and earned through qualifying activity within the Marmu application. The following terms govern all token redemptions:

• Tokens carry no cash value and cannot under any circumstances be exchanged, transferred, refunded, sold, or converted to cash or any other currency, digital or otherwise.
• Tokens may only be redeemed by the account holder to whom they were issued. Any attempt to transfer, sell, trade, or assign tokens to another account or individual is strictly prohibited.
• Token balances are non-transferable and will not be honored if associated with fraudulent, manipulated, or unauthorized account activity.
• Mistorchen LLC reserves the right to void, forfeit, or reclaim any tokens that have been obtained through exploits, bugs, manipulation of app systems, unauthorized means, or any activity that Mistorchen LLC determines, at its sole discretion, to be inconsistent with the intended operation of the token system.
• Mistorchen LLC reserves the right to adjust token pricing for any product, suspend token redemption for any product or category, or modify the token system at any time without prior notice.
• Token redemption orders do not qualify for free shipping, promotional discounts, or any other offers unless explicitly stated by Mistorchen LLC at the time of purchase.
• In the event an order is cancelled by Mistorchen LLC due to a fulfillment issue, tokens used in that transaction will be reinstated to the originating account. Tokens will not be reinstated for any other reason.

Pricing and Currency

All prices displayed in the Marmu Shop are denominated in U.S. dollars (USD). For international customers, your financial institution or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees or exchange rate adjustments. Mistorchen LLC is not responsible for any such fees, and all charges will be processed at the USD price confirmed at checkout.

Order Confirmation

Successful payment constitutes order confirmation. An order confirmation email will be issued to the address associated with your Marmu account upon successful processing. This confirmation serves as your transaction receipt and should be retained for your records. Mistorchen LLC is not responsible for confirmation emails that are undelivered due to incorrect account information or email filtering.

Failed or Declined Payments

If a payment is declined, the associated order will not be processed and no charge will be applied to your payment method. Mistorchen LLC assumes no liability for declined transactions. Customers are advised to verify payment details or contact their card issuer directly. Repeated failed payment attempts may result in temporary suspension of checkout access at Mistorchen LLC's discretion.

Chargebacks and Disputes

By completing a purchase, you agree to contact Mistorchen LLC directly at developer@mistorchen.com prior to initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with your financial institution or card issuer. Mistorchen LLC will work in good faith to resolve any legitimate order issues promptly.

In the event a chargeback is initiated without prior contact, Mistorchen LLC reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate the associated Marmu account and revoke any outstanding token balance pending resolution of the dispute. Mistorchen LLC will provide all relevant order, fulfillment, and communication documentation to the applicable payment processor in support of any dispute investigation.

Fraudulent chargebacks — including chargebacks filed on orders that were fulfilled in accordance with this policy — may be reported to relevant authorities and pursued to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Sales Tax

Sales tax will be applied to applicable orders in accordance with the laws of the relevant jurisdiction. Any applicable tax amounts will be disclosed at checkout prior to payment confirmation.
